Agricultural Officers Recruitment


Applications are invited for appointment to the posts of Agricultural Officers on regular basis  i.e., (16) posts under limited / backlog recruitment for S.C., S.T., B.Cs., P.H., and Women, and 458 posts under General recruitment in the Department of Agriculture in all the 6 Zones in the State. Details of zone-wise, community wise no. of posts to be filled up are as per list appended, in the time Scale of pay of Rs.16150-450-17050-490-18520-530-20110-570-21820-610-23650-650-25600-700-27700-750-29950-800-32350-850-34900-900-37600-970-40510-1040-42590.  These posts are governed by A.P.A.S. Rules (adhoc Rules issued in G.O.Ms.No.16 A & C (FP.I) Dept., dt.21.1.2000) and the General Rules and other related Rules shall also be applicable wherever necessary. The 40% are Open to Locals as well as Non-Locals and 60% of posts are reserved for local candidates of the respective Zones under Six Point Formula as per the provisions of G.O.Ms.No.124 GA(SPF) Dept, Dt.7.3.2002 in the general recruitment.  The vacancies are notified to Regional Employment Officer (Professional and Executive), Hyderabad.

The candidates who possess minimum Educational qualification of Bachelor of Science in Agriculture i.e., B.Sc.(Ag.) as on 1.1.2012 from any  ICAR recognized University, with the maximum age limit of 36 years as on 01.07.2012 (GO MS.No 1, GA(Ser.A) Dept, dt.02.01.2012) are eligible to apply to the posts notified. The age relaxation in respect of S.C. and S.T. and B.C. and P.H. candidates shall be allowed as per the provisions under Rule 12 of General rules and the limitation thereon as per rules in force for the recruitment. Rule of reservation as per Rule 22 shall be followed in the General Recruitment.

The format in which the bio-data is to be submitted is appended below.  The last date for receipt of application in the prescribed proforma is  02-03-2012 by 5.00 P.M. A model Bio-Data Format is placed in http:/www.apagrisnet.gov.in. Applications received late or with incomplete information/non enclosing of required copies of certificates/enclosing of invisible copies of certificates if any, such applications will be rejected summarily and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.    Furnishing copies of certificates at a later date shall not be entertained, and they shall not have any claim on such cases.Any form of campaigning in selection process if noticed, applications of such persons are liable for summarily rejection without any intimation.  All the enclosures should be stitched with thread or neatly tagged to the Bio-data Form.
  There will be no Test or Interview for selection of the candidates. The selection of candidates shall be as per merit based on the aggregate marks computed for 125 marks, i.e., up to a maximum of 100 for the O.G.P.A./ Traditional % of marks secured by them in their B.Sc. (Ag.) qualification, plus marks for seniority from the date of passing of the said qualification @ One mark per year up to a maximum of 10 marks, plus marks for experience if any in this department i.e., Agriculture Department only as Agricultural Officer / Agricultural Consultants(ANTWA) and other schemes / M.P.E.Os on contract basis @ 1 mark for every completed period of 3 months experience up to a maximum of 15 marks for the Service rendered as on  01.01.2012. The service certificate issued by the concerned District Joint
Director will only be considered and the certificates issued by any others will not be considered.

The Candidates who could get selection and appointment as Agricultural Officers have to pass Agricultural Department Test, Accounts Test for Executive Officers and 2nd Class Language Test in Telugu within two years from the date of appointment as per General Rules.
