National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC), ISRO requires Junior Research Fellow for its ongoing national projects

NRSC invites applications for the following positions on temporary basis to its ongoing national projects for a maximum period of two years from the eligible candidates:

1. Junior Research Fellow: Fellowship amount Rs.18,000/- for ME/M.Tech and for others Rs.16,000/- No. of positions: 01 (One)

• Qualification : M.Tech/M.Sc. in Remote Sensing/Physics/Geoinformatics / Environmental Geomatics/Spatial Information Technology/ Agricultural Physics/Agrometeorology or its equivalent.
• Desirable : Experience in satellite data analysis, crop modeling and computer software.

2.Junior Research Fellow: Fellowship amount Rs.18,000/- for ME/M.Tech and for others Rs.16,000/- No. of positions: 03 (Three)

• Qualification : M.Tech/M.Sc. (Tech)/M.S/M.Sc. in Geography/Geo-informatics/ Environmental Science/Remote Sensing or its equivalent.
• Desirable : Experience in RS data analysis and geospatial information processing. Knowledge of computer programming with computer based analysis.

3.Junior Research Fellow: Fellowship amount Rs.18,000/- for ME/M.Tech and for others Rs.16,000/- No. of positions: 03 (Three)

• Qualification : M.Tech./M.Sc. (Tech)/M.Sc. in Geophysics/Geology/Applied Geology or its equivalent.
• Desirable : Knowledge in GIS & Remote Sensing

4. Junior Research Fellow: Fellowship amount Rs.18,000/- for ME/M.Tech and for others Rs.16,000/- No. of positions: 01 (One)

• Qualification : M.Tech/M.Sc.(Tech)/M.Sc. in Geophysics or its equivalent.
• Desirable : GPR/Seismic data processing & interpretation.

5. Junior Research Fellow: Fellowship amount Rs.18,000/- for ME/M.Tech and for others Rs.16,000/- No. of positions: 02 (Two)

• Qualification : M.Tech/M.Sc.(Tech) in Geology or Applied Geology after M.Sc. in Geology/Applied Geology or its equivalent (OR) M.Sc. in Geology/Applied Geology.
• Desirable : Working knowledge in remote sensing and GIS.

6. Junior Research Fellow: Rs.16,000/- No. of positions: 01 (One)

• Qualification : BE/B.Tech/M.Sc. in Geomatics or its equivalent.
• Desirable : Knowledge in GIS & Remote Sensing

7. Junior Research Fellow: Rs.16,000/- No. of positions: 03 (Three)

• Qualification : BE/B.Tech in Civil/Agricultural/Environmental Engineering or its equivalent. (OR) M.Sc. in Geoinformatics with Physics & Maths at B.Sc. level.
• Desirable : Knowledge in Remote Sensing, GIS, Water Resources, Hydrology

8. Junior Research Fellow: Rs.16,000/- No. of positions: 01 (One)

• Qualification : M.Sc. in Physics/Geochemistry/Oceanography or its equivalent.
• Desirable : Field data collection and analysis on Estuarine/Coastal Lagoon/Brackish water lake/Geochemistry for ecosystem responses. Satellite data processing.

9. Junior Research Fellow: Rs.16,000/- No. of positions: 01 (One)

• Qualification : M.Sc. in Forestry/Botany
• Desirable : Vegetation field inventory and analysis, biomass estimates.

10. Junior Research Fellow: Rs.16,000/- No. of positions: 01 (One)

• Qualification : M.Sc. in Agrometeorology/Physics/Atmospheric Physics or its equivalent
• Desirable : Carbon and water flux analysis/ vegetation process studies.

11. Junior Research Fellow: Rs.16,000/- No. of positions: 01 (One)

• Qualification : M.Sc. in Physics
• Desirable : Computer programming

12. Junior Research Fellow: Rs.16,000/- No. of positions: 01 (One)

• Qualification : M.Sc. in Physics/Agriculture/Chemistry.
• Desirable : Remote sensing/Statistical analysis.

13.Junior Research Fellow: Fellowship amount Rs.18,000/- for ME/M.Tech and for others Rs.16,000/- No. of positions: 01 (One)

• Qualification : M.Sc.Tech/M.Sc. in Physics/Atmospheric Sciences/Physical Oceanography.
• Desirable : Numerical methods and programming skills (FORTRAN and C)

14.Junior Research Fellow: Fellowship amount Rs.18,000/- for ME/M.Tech and for others Rs.16,000/- No. of positions: 01 (One)

• Qualification : M.Tech in Remote Sensing/M.Sc. in Forestry/Ecology/ Botany / Physics or its equivalent.
• Desirable : Vegetation field studies and analysis. Numerical methods and programming skills

15.Junior Research Fellow: Fellowship amount Rs.18,000/- for ME/M.Tech and for others Rs.16,000/- No. of positions: 01 (One)

• Qualification : M.Tech/M.Sc. in Physics or its equivalent.
• Desirable : Numerical methods and programming skills.
